ok well i would not try to lance it, that is a last resort, infection would set in im sure. how long has it been there? i would just wait and ride it out

i noticed it a couple of days ago but it got bigger from last night to today AND i notice the ones on the gills today that were not there yesterday !

Some kind of infection going on there but the dat is an IT not AT.

Get cracking on them big water changes and use salt. This will get rid of it. Melafix won't hurt either.
