at waht point is a standard foundation not enough??

i will most likely use a thin layer of sand an beach pebbles as substrate. hopefully not to much wieght there.
and the stand will be steal tubing covered in ply wood.
its crazy how much these tanks wiegh.
is there anyone here with a 600+ tank that has it in there home that can shed some light on what they did? and how?
 
yea i might be puttin the tank in the garage but i will have to insulate it.
we are also goin to have a snake room. which might be moved to the garage with the tank. not sure yet. i would really rather have my tank inside. i want to see it every day before work and when i get home. lol
i hate stuff being in its own room, besides our snakes.
 
ask Hulon, and Egon on here. Egon is my buddy john and has a 450 gallon in house and is trying to get something over 1000 gallon LOL. It also helps that he is an engineer and lives for this stuff.
