At what age should kids stop being messy eaters?

I believe kids should be out of the Picasso food era by the time they are potty trained... 1-2 years old if I must set a number. I speak from experience on this w/my 2 daughters

I said 1-2 in case someone was having trouble w/potty training or food decor. In reality, we never let our kids make a mess n waste food haha! Did they make one, yes but we never let it get close to a 1 min worth of clean up :)
 
Ahhh can't wait to have kids so I can teach them manners :)
 
Don't know why but I've always wanted to teach my son how to piss n clean his tip after so there is no PeePee in his tantarans! Ahahaha, just thought I'd share ;)


Now if I can only make one!!!!!!

I say start as early as possible. My oldest is like a princess. She has rituals where her food is a certain way. She has to eat a certain way and placement on plate is just as important as taste. My youngin is 8,and it's not like she ain't been trained. But she is a dirt magnet!
I stay trying to correct her. My biggest peeve is table manners. She just don't get it though. I am sick of her shirts looking like she had a food fight at a buffet. I've been threatening to break out the bibs.
