At what size does the Zebra Pike (C. zebrina) color up

Should have some nice color at that size. How’s your water quality? Tankmates?

From what I have been told it should start showing color at anytime... it will be in my tank on Monday.

In that case if it’s in the lfs then maybe stressed from the tank and water.

already looks gorgeous to me. Will probably show off colors a bit better once in your tank for a while, and it gets comfortable and on an optimal diet. But at that size it should be showing it's colors.

The red throat hits at around 10” give or take.
