TUIC has both of these on the list this week. From the description and photo of "II", I'll assume that's what I got a couple years ago as "fire", which came in with HITH (and have had an ongoing problem with it). Does anyone have any photos of the "I" variety, or any experience with them? I am not thinking too much about getting them right now due to space limits, but was curious, since he doesn't have any photos up for these.

Thanks!

Atabapo I are the Lugubris type pike. They are very similar in coloration to the Tapajos Flame pikes. They are a spectacular race and are brilliant red. You will not be disapointed.

Atabapo II are commonly referred to as the Fire Pike but in all honesty, the previous specie is more red. Atabapo II do seem highly susceptible to HLLE. They do have a very unique pattern.

Personally, if I were buying some, I'd get the Atabapo I.

 Do the atabapo I pikes maintain that color in the aquarium? That is smoking hott! I might even think about getting one.

I'm trying to ask my usual shop to get the female II in. feels a lil much after what rich had them in for even though they were smaller.

def wish I had room for the I or the lents...

It's that time of the year when I see a dozen different fish that I have to have but not enough money to go around. Pikes & geos & cichla everywhere. Yikes!!

Im gonna try and get one for sure there great pikes as you can see in the pics above but it does take a few years for them to mature fully and develope those bright colors
