That was my impression as well. Go for it buddy!

I have a theory regarding the HITH head and how to cure it. I'd love to give it a shot. I have a sneaky suspicion that it will help with the color as well.

Would you care to share this theory? I'm all ears and more than willing to help you put it to the test!


martindale ~ Thank you sir!! Thats what I was looking for. I have fifteen of them in my 300gal. So technically I only need about five more leaves, but more is always better!!! I think about fifty more would come close to being adequate. It does say though to discard the leaf after one week and add another one. Hmmm, I was just thinking of leaving them all in there. Leaf litter bottom!!

Hey P_P I spoke w/a co-worker that shares our interests and he said that he ran a fishing line through maple leaves and ran it along the bottom as a substrate. He said it helped w/the ph and looked really cool as well.

I have been out for a while. I'll ask him and get a little more info this time. I have been busy setting up a new 180 with 20 F1 3" Cyphotilapia gibberosa Moba. Its been a BLAST!!!!
