Interesting.

Do you have a copy of a copy of the pics that is large enough to count lateral line scales? That'll settle the issue. I've always gone out of my way to say that TATF and VATF are extremely closely related and that when small its possible to make mistakes in the ID of them.

last 2 pics looks just like a vatf I used to keep.

my tatf that I used to have always kept a super slender shape, with a more pointy looking head/snout... (as compared to first 2 pics).

just an observation... super nice pics, love it.
