Hello Can anybody help identify these, They are very skittish so hard to get a photo.

I have 8 of these ranging from 5in to about 8in. Lines are not defined, quite shiny. Could be the goliath or Brevi

Thanks, can anyone else verify this?

I have a 290cm x 90cm x 50cm aquarium for these to go in which is around 1300ltrs approx 340g.

I have 2 500gph pumps each side which is running the filtration system, and i will put a Vortech MP40 on the left hand side to create a strong current.

I really want to put some dense planted areas also.

I might make a new thread for the build.

Any thoughts on this?

I would get the tank on a proper supported stand first.

Get a photo of the side of the fish that is shot straight through the glass. We can't tell for sure what they are with the way the photos are shot. If I was to offer an educated guess, I would say FATF. Much better pictures will be required for positive ID however.

Hey guys Some more photos if you can help get a confident ID. I think they are Brevis, can anyone give a indication of that not being the case?

The first six pictures don't work. The seventh picture isn't of any help. The eighth picture almost certainly shows Hydrocynus tanzaniae. Looking back at the seventh picture after looking at the eight, they do look rather tanzy like to me.
