The lines are not very strong when i look at the fish, and they are very shiny. The supplier was from Nigeria if it makes a difference and was sold as GATF.

If they're Nigerian then the odds are good that they are a BATF/FATF mix.

You'll need better pictures to positively ID those fish. I'm sorry but I can't really tell what I'm looking at from those pics. To ID the fish, you'll need a clear, side-on shot of each fish in question. You'll need to take the picture at a perpendicular angle to the glass. If you shoot your pics at an angle, the picture won't be clear enough to ID the fish.

It will also VERY much help ID if you added a background and some substrate. The lack of substrate combined with the white wall background washes out the color of the fish. All five species have stripes at that size more or less. In a tank like yours however, none of them will show stripes.

Really anything anyone says right now will be a guess. It is not possible to positively ID those fish without better pics. When they're that small and that young, they all look alike. Secondary characteristics don't develop until they're quite a bit larger.

Ahh ok, Well by the sounds of it, these fish have been kept in this system for 2 years in May! But nothing has been done with them since. So i am currently setting them up a system (see dimensions above) this will of course have substrate, backing, strong flow live plants and decor. Hopefull ishall have this in a few weeks.

i might start a thread of the build, i also ill use a DSLR for some photos of the fish once they have settled and may even colour up nicely.

I was very surprised to hear these were 2+ years old and some of them are stil only 4 or 5in long.

You need to take a side picture of the fish head on for Chicxulub to be able to positively ID it. All your shots are slanted side shots, he needs a full head on side shot of the fish.
