A. falcatus, 10-12", so you want a minimum tank width of 18" for adults, Seem to prefer small groups. Often hard to get to take pellets but will take mealworms, crickets, eathworms, etc. if you can't get feeders or don't use them. Not aggessive with fish to big to eat. Like to lurk under foliage. Very fast strike when feeding. I won't rate them on your scale because my tastes might be different then yours, but I think they are very cool

Hmm, They sound fun. If i did get them I would only get 2 of them * thats all they have*
Whats another good fish i could put in with them that wont outgrow a 120gallon?

red tail cudas are AWESOME. i had a 6-7 incher for a year or so and i got him on krill. their so fast and toothy. my flagtail prochilodus killed him tho......go get one milky.

I have no room for them lol, Only way i can make room is if i sell my dats and im not gona sell my babys.

They can be kept with fish like redhooks and silver dollars that are to large to eat, generally, full bodied fish more than 1/2 their size are safe, as are slender fish about the same size as they are.

:) the first pic looks like them :)..
On a scale 1-10 how cool are these fish?

As Guppy said how cool is cool what is cool to you might not be cool to me for example
my wife like Wham I don't;) Then again I digress enough of the 80’s

My one was about 15" when I sold him and as far as I am concerned very cool had a mouth full of teeth and looked the part he was also ok with the other fish in the tank.

They do look quite feeble when young but thicken up as they get older my one was off live food by putting strips of white bait or lance fish in the stream of the filter he would attack them as they shot past.

I have 3 species of FW Cudda, Payara, red tail and Hujeta thay are about 6-8 inches each and awesome. They live in a 220 gallon with a RTC TSN a arrowana and several cichlids as well as a P. Niger and other common cats from south america. Highly recamended. Like the Payara better.
