ATF Pellet Training

I currently have a 4.5" GATF that I purchased off a guy on here and it was only fed feeders. And I'm trying to break him off and get him onto pellets. Well I've had no luck, I got him last Monday and I haven't (seen) him eat any pellets. (Carnisticks & Massivore) I have him in with a 6" VATF and 5 Tinfoil Barbs and they are all eating carnisticks and massivore. My Vittatus only took 5 days to break when I got him at 4" and now he's slamming down 6-8 carnisticks a day.

So what should I try/do next? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well it's been 8 days now... He's at the stage where he looks at the pellets and will swim at them and then stop without eating them.

9 days....when I throw the pellets in all the other fish will swim over to them and the Goliath will go to the other side of the tank.

I had a feeling he would eventually die because he didn't even look at the pellets anymore. I also tried shrimp and talapia and he would just swim away. He is pending for pickup tomorrow.
