You'd be surprised how long they can go without food. I think Rob's brevis went about a month or more before finally eating pellets again

I guess not. I don't have the patience to wait a month for him to finally eat pellets. I like my Vittatus better anyways.

After 16 days of starving he finally broke. Not pellets but tilapia. It was definitely worth the wait as he is very aggressive during feeding. He will even try and take tilapia out of the tinfoil barbs mouths that are twice his size. He is a lot more aggressive than my Vittatus, and I like it! I'll try and get a video up soon.
