Very nice pike's me and my bf were looking at them for awhile, as he likes pikes. I had no clue they belonged to someone on mfk lol. Congrats!!

Makes me miss my cobras

Congradulations on all those trophies, you definately earned them.

You keep that up and they'll have to start putting little pike on the trophies :D

Awesomely done Jon!!! Glad you guys did so well!!! They look spectacular, all of them!! Glad I was able to 'see' some of them before the show. Would have loved to have been there to see them in the display tanks though! Jealous am I!!

I don't want to hear any excuses from you in the future though about not posting pictures though! Those are awesome and superbly done!! HAHA!

Next year, you will have competition my friend....;). Working on it right now. You guys are a bunch of tough cookies to beat though. If only I could get my hands on a female Rio Trombetas marm . . . . . .

Please do!!!!I love have more competitions!please bring more fish, not only in pike class, also in the other classes!Dan Ye-Jennings

Those are some awesome Pikes, it makes me miss the 2 I had years ago. I will have to get some more one of these days. I think they are some of the coolest fish out there.

Hey Rollalan ~ judging shouldn't been too hard - we only brought 6 entries !! HA - guess which was the better, was difficult--- heh heh! Nice to hear from our UK friends, we all had a GREAT TIME, already lookin forward to Cinncinati next July...
We met the trophy-maker/artist (Loach __) during the Show, he'll make some lil pikes for class 4 next year ~ YES! We may have a surprise next year, hope more people bring Pikes & other showFish... it really makes the annual event more interesting & stimulating! More of you guys should join the ACA - it IS OUR National Club - very worthwhile and educational, sure opened our eyes to the World of Cichlids. We all should be involved and support them more.
Our THANKS also to the local club, the AAAA, who did a great job hosting the event!

Trying to find some pikes right now actually to grow out and give you a little competition. Perhaps by then my male snook will be large enough as well...;) Got some Viejas from an AWESOME couple that are showing potential too...hahaha!

rapps has some nice ones-i just bought 2 T.Reds.
I had ordered a 470 from AFY and then they went out of business....so I am starting up my tragic 125 from 1 1/2 years ago. I figure between being dried out for over a year and the 3 bleechings I've given it, that whatever nasty was in there "should" have perished. Wish me luck this time.

Rapps also has some sweet sounding marms...

Anyone ever keep polleni?i ordered 2 of those too. And some Brasiliensis.

Yesh, Rapps has some nice stuff right now. I'm hoping he doesn't sell off all of them for a while.

Best of luck with that tank! I member that blasted black scurge!! Still no idea what caused it! Should be better though! Use NEW everything. Perhaps filter your water as well, as thats where it may have come from. In Nebraska I had well water, and I got the same thing as you occassionally, it would go away though. Really weird. Just added some black to the pikes coloration for a few days/weeks...then go away.
