Looks like a fun vacation by far

The resort was amazing. They comped us the honeymoon suite when we checked in. Everybody employed by the resort loves their job. All the hotel staff, restaurant employees and lifeguards at the watermarks are 100% the nicest people on earth. That being said Nassau was the exact opposite. We left the Atlantis property once and came right back. But the Atlantis property is so huge you never have to leave.

Congrats. That place is awesome. Did you have dr. Feel good make you a drink on the beach?

Nope. We spend very little time at the beach. Because of the storms the water was nasty and rough. So we roughed it poolside all week instead. Plus drinks were free in the casino...

We probably walked 5-6 miles a day for 5 days exploring, just headed a different direction every day. We still didn't see everything there. This resort is so massive it's hard to put it into words. There are 2 main aquariums, one in the lobby that the main tower is built around (The Dig) and one twords the back of the resort with the long tunnel to walk through (Predator Lagoon). But as you see there are dozens of outside pond type setups with rays, sharks, turtles, fish, birds and everything else. We swam with the dolphins but refused to pay $200+ for a picture package so we got no pics of that. They didn't allow personal cameras into the dolphin encounter "For the safety of the dolphins"...right...

IMO EVERYONE needs to see this place atleast once in their lives. And stopping there for a day excursion from a cruise ship is basically a waste of time if you ask me.

Oh and I forgot to mention that the entire Miami Heat team was staying in the same tower as us. The have a training session there every year. So we ran into LBJ, D-Wade and Bosh constantly in the casino. I didn't get any pics of them because I absolutely hate the heat and I didn't want to be THAT guy taking pics of celebs I don't even like. I was told by locals that the locals hate the players as much as I do. Apparently they are rude and don't tip we'll at all. However the tip aspect could be people assuming that because athletes make millions they should tip $100 on a $30 tab. I completely disagree with that, standard tipping etiquette applies no matter what your salary is so I don't want to throw them completely under the bus. I had no interaction with them so I can neither confirm nor deny these accusations.
