Ryan,

that Monster is looking very badass! Love the colors. I'm surprised the pleco hasn't been killed yet. LOL

Lol at first i was worried because the pleco was getting hammered but now the Dovii is starting to accept the pleco's role in the tank.

u shoulda took a video on the Dovii getting it's ass kicked by the jardini. would have been cool. LOL

Care to try Round 2? :naughty:

I know my Jardini is at another level then any cichlid when it comes to all out fighting. After that day i've gained tons of respect for what a Jar's capable of bringing to the table during crunch time. And no i'll never try it again, thay are both great specimens and not worth risking injury to one another or possible death.

I love that Dovii! I must have one! How big do they get and whats the tanks size requirements? :headbang2

For a male i'd say about 22"-26" Adult length......And i'd say eventual tank size for a male that size would be 300+ gallons.....I've had mine for about a year and he's eventually going into my 180 and if he outgrows that I'll buy him a bigger tank.

Aaaaaaaaawww:( Just 1 min.

I take it that there are VERY few tankmates that would be suitable to keep with this fish?
Which sp. of Dovii do you have? Do the males generally get larger than the females, and do the males tend to have better coloration?
