Has anyone else noticed that if oddball post it's pretty much guaranteed to involve complaining like he wants everyone to feel sorry for him? If you don't want to be a moderator then don't.
Yeah that's how it goes sometimes with threads and how they can sit a few days with no attention and the next thing you know they are hotly debated.I initially didn't find this thread interesting enough for me to even post on and didn't intend to untill I came acros the comment that I quoted.

There's your other game. Make smart remarks if someone makes a comment you don't agree with. I should of specified more recently and in threads with controversy. Sorry for the confusion.

I don't want to turn this into mod bashing though. There are a lot of good moderators on here. Some of them make it clear being a good one isn't a requirement. I don't think I'm worthy to moderate, but I could do just as bad a job as some.
There's actually one moderator that doesn't even give good advice for fish keeping. You'd think that'd definitely be a requirement. I guess not though.

I know that there's no freedom of speech guaranteed on here. I have faith the mods can handle some criticism and won't punish a person just because they spoke out.

What's wrong with using symbols? That's how they edit on the radio. They use some other garbled noise in place of the word. As long as you're not using symbols that look like the actual letters, ie @$$#°£€
