Sucking up? How am I sucking up? I've been here since I was 12, started my hobby from here, and even though I've been in trouble here before, I've gotten a lot of help from people, and I hate seeing those people get unfairly criticized. Sucking up would imply that I was expecting some kind of recognition, which I'm not, I'm just trying to call someone on being a tool.

You're one to talk. Lol. I've had other members IM me and said not to let you bother me and they've had the same type of run ins with you.

I know I don't always communicate properly on here. I also know you don't either, but I don't think you could ever admit that to yourself or anyone else.

Get this thread back on track please. This is not a soapbox for feelings regarding the staff, it's a friendly reminder to the community to help avoid warning and/or infractions for members who didn't know better or may have forgot.

I think enuf has been said in this thread for everyone to get the point. Should lock and mods bump as you'd please
 
I do think its a bit much to give people infractions for using symbols in place of letters for profanity. everyone does this all over the place (even in newspaper articles) to protect the minors from seeing the full word and it works.

the adults get the word, the kids don't.

sometimes a bit of "profanity" used in the right context is the only word that fits.

eg. if your tank breaks and floods your house, sometimes saying the S word to describe it is the only word that works.

you know everyone is thinking it anyway.

just saying.

I mean, are people really reporting posts to mods that have a S-- word in it or something like that? seriously?
