Well, I'm harming no little fishes...I use sea salt (not what I buy for my tank) with a mixture of essential oils and scrub it all over so no Dove or any other product for me...it works much better and leaves ya all soft and smooth!! ;)

Same here, when I want an all over body smoothing, I use natural sea salt, organic almond oil and I pick the extract I want for scent (like peppermint, orange blossom, etc, which are also organic). Mix those together and you have a natural scrub nothing could compare to.
Plus when I am just in the shower, I use a loofah for everything and when I give myself pedicures, I use the sea salt scrub or a pummis (SP?) stone. My whole body is silky, so there is no need for anything else. I don't buy those other products mainly because I dont need them, but also because they can actually dry out your skin, clog your pores, harm your skin by scraping away delicate layers, and like stated, they contain several chemicals and other materials which are neither healthy nor safe.

i do the same for peds w/ the sea salt and pummice(?) stone too.. in the shower to exfoliate i use this smooth spongy thing and i have a porous soft one that i <3. sea salt scrub+spongey thing+moisturizer after towel drying when your skin is still a lil moist=soft! i use the dove stuff occasionally.. usually just water and lotion w a lil bit of SPF after for my face

I exfoliate with steel wool......
Those beaded soaps feel painful to me too, partially because those soaps are scented and I'm allergic to perfume.

I love orange!! I like to mix orange, lemon, grapefruit and lemon grass with the almond or Borage oil for my body...its great!!! For my face it is usually rose, jasmine or geranium, with carrot oil, chamomile and or lavender. But I use the primerose, hazelnut or sesame seed oil for my face. I just stand in the shower and rub the salt everywhere then turn the shower on and rinse it, then before I get out I put the oil on.

See, I don't towel dry...just add the oil and I'm good to go, it soaks in much better that way and you are sooooo silky smooth!!!

Oh, Water baby...have you ever tried....Rose, Jasmine, geranium and sandelwood?? It smells soooooo wonderful, I'm not much of a floral scent person but the sandle wood adds to it and it is really nice!

hmmm maybe i should get some of that oil.. a lot of them that ive smelled were too strong for my liking though.
for peds i dont only use the sea salt and pummice stone tho.. this is what i do n it works great:
fill up the tub with warm warm water just enough so your feet can soak in the water. while you're filling it up, add a lil bit of moisturizer and swish it in. soak em for a bit. take out a scrubby thing(on the other side of the pummice if you have the handle kind).. scrub moisturizer in(put moisturizer on the brush before scrubbing).. rinse then scrub with just the brush... pummice, seasalt(or seasalt then pummice), let dry a bit, moisturize.
then you paint your toe nails: )

I just take the salt and rub it all over my feet, usually with peppermint and almond oil then put them in the water for a bit rubbing them, when I pull them out, I rub the almond oil w/ peppermint oil and put big fat socks on.

never tried the big moisturizing socks.
my friend had this amazing stuff once. shes in school for cosmetology. it was a scrub, but very very fine, sugary. i swear, you just washed your hands with it and it was amazing!!.. so soft. im going to find out what it's called, i forgot all about that stuff. it smells so good you wonder if you can eat it too lol

I use a nice coat of prime over my face, the sulfur smell really wakes me up.
I then rinse with 85F tank water.
