I bought a few this time around. I would rather have a few and watch them turn into a regular Mono, than not have any and watch them turn into Kelberi!

this is not to u but some people.....all the doubt about kelberi or not...to me simple...no money to burn because they are not sure or whatever...then simple DONT BUY THEM. and people expect color NOW..just because the other fish got color ALREADY.... it's funny..or other who want RARE fish but just a bunch of dreamers and talk alot of S...they want rare then expect to pay equal of RARE...and move out of the way.

These guys may not have the bling now that most of us have seen in pics but they ARE different even if they arent the super showy sp. of Kelberi. Ive had the luxury of having several different species in the tank at the same time and these Kelberi do not resemble any other sp. I have owned in any way. Their attitudes are different, markings, growth rate, personality, etc. You name it, its different. I wouldnt doubt that these are Kelberi, They are just alot different from the adult pics floating around. Gotta keep in mind also that these guys are still infants in the world of Cichla. This time next year will be a whole different discussion im sure.

is like aro not all are the same...or even the same type but when they mature some are red than others..or gold than others
