my camera is a powershot... decent camera for the price... you see the little flower on it.. thats the macro.. use that and hold the shutter button down almost all the way and let it focus then push it down all the way to take the picture.. a little advise, but just to warn you i know nothing lol

thanks boost .. I think i should invest in a tripod as well .. trying to hold it still as i take a shot is a lost cause . Would like to get more detail with the close ups , not as easy as I thought .

thats cool im a noob too.. dslr (digital single lens reflex) pretty much expensive cameras that shoot heaps nice pics lol..

wasent sure so i looked it up .. and no, it isnt.

looks like Ill be upgrading camera's just as fast as fish tanks..

not good . Ill stick with this cam until i get a clue . Then find something with interchangeable lenses .
