yes hes a male they have a humop when he is ready to breed females dont have a hump

are you sure?. mine showed sumtin of a hump, though it wasn't as big as her male

hey, do you have any other cichla in your tank?
whenever mine colouring up ( the pairs) ready to spawn, i found all the others gone pale goldish yellow, no trace of black bars at all
