You are right, there got some wild peacock bass in some lakes from Malaysia...
but they are not origin species because Malaysia originally didn't have peacock bass.

Awesome.I love peacock bass.Im looking for temensis with the full spot on their head.there are all 5 pbass in my tank.

I remember there was this Ron Looi guy that goes around spreading the Pbass gospel. I have seen some of them to have red eyes, and I am suspecting there is some Ocellaris blood in those Monoc. Of course I have been proven wrong many times over
 
my wild peru monos have red eyes.. i highly doubt there is ocellaris in them

The pbass had spreaded quite widely in many lakes in different States.




This is my ex-comm tank 2 years ago.(tank size is 6ft x 2ft x 2ft)
There got 2 peacock basses in the tank, i think they were Monos too.

Hey mate, they are some amazing PB's with great lines and definiton. Your tank is amazing, i love monster tanks, and you've set it up fantastically, plenty of open swim space.
