i though i'd use this posting as an introduction and a thank you, to all of you.

i've lurked around here for some time now, but havent posted yet, as to i was way to busy reading up on everything. i didnt even know of peacock basses until i saw a monster tank build on youtube, leading me to here. since then my love for fish has turned for the best.

i went on from watching the video, to purchasing my cichlas @ about 2" each(bought 8 of them from my lfs), and now 78 months later they are all(yes, all 8, even for my amateurness) are closing in on 8-9 inches.

i apologize for the weirdness in how the pics are looking. they were taken with my camera phone.

closing remarks: i thought a 44g was big enough to start them off. i was right on that part. however they grow so big, so fast. i just went out and got myself a 175g, and will be taking some new current pictures soon on the digital camera(so pictures turn out better). wish me luck.

Welcome to MFK, glad to see you started your journey off with one of the best aquarium fish to own! :headbang2 good job raising them too :D
