He's about a foot now....Got him in the bottom of the frame, but I decided to use it anyways. It turned out nicely, I think .

Hmmm, let's see. They were 5" wild caughts back in Nov/08. I fed them only 4 times a week with feeders to start but they were tough to break off live, so they had several stretches of no food. I got them on shrimp and they still refused to eat anything else until recently when they started taking smelts. I still only feed them 4 times a week. These guys have bottomless stomachs, it seems, lol.
