i took a trip down to one of the "lesser quality" LFS's i know about..havn't been to it in around a year..turns out it's a lot better than it was..but the staff is still poor
ANYWAY
i spotted a tank full of Pbass for 6.99 and i zoomed over, they were all around 3-4 inches, pretty skinny, they said they couldn't get them off live foods, but yeah, couldnt resist one for 6.99.
they were labeled as cichla temensis, not one tem in there(sucks cause i really want a nice tem)
i noticed this one had blood red eyes.. none of the others had red eyes, (which are faded due to stess) i'm not sure its an ocell, im thinking mono... anyone have any opinions?
needs some serious feedings, but nice otherwise
and then in a tank in the back full of gouramies i spotted this guy, but the i walked way, thinking hmm, nicebut probably 60 bucks like all the other LFS's, i decided to ask anyway
