Ok, I would go with the Gold, and not Bio Gold...seeing that you need RED. You may even wanna try Omega One Super Color...Amen to Cheap Foods!

I'm no expert on Hikari food, but I'm going to assume that it isn't better. More than likely, the Bio-Gold will have at least the same, if not more color enhancers such as astaxanthin in it as the Gold. You would probably get a more detailed answer from a Hikari rep in the Hikari sub folder.

I have both now and feed NLS 1mm pellet exclusively. That stuff has everything you will ever need so why screw around buying all those other brands.

I mix pellets together in a bottle - Hikari, NLS and Xtreme. Also a little Tetra color bits. I honestly don't know if it makes any difference and it's mostly for the peace of mind, lol. I've been using more and more Xtreme lately. Big Geos get the 3mm ones and small Geos get the 1mm ones.

Treats: big Geos get freeze dried krills and small Geos get frozen black worms.

Ill probably go with NLS and BioGold. Just for the heck of it.
And hope it brings out all the colors.
