When you first purchased all the AUL's I was like, how boring is that tank going to be with a bunch of logs sitting at the bottom. After seeing how active they are in person it's a real treat to watch them. Man, was I wrong. Seems more active than the Endli's I use to have. The tank is awesome and great job from the fabricator. He does real awesome work.

You should have sat your son next to this guy when you fished it out. Would have given a reference on the size of this beast.

My son took that picture actually. I was gonna put a tape measurement next to it, but it just kept moving and moving. The tiles are 12"x12", maybe someone can do some calculation to estimate the size.

Whats the footprint on that beastly tank? And did you skin the stand w/ plywood using velcro? Pretty clever. Would love to see more pics of the filtration etc. Nice build! And monster AUL's.

Nice! Wish they breed. Many people think that AUL are not active, well actually the juvenile are not very active and more skittish. As they grow they become more active and swim most of the time looking for food.
