Aulonocara Lwanda

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have been at this since I was 10 and this is the first time I have ever lost any fish. It won't make me throw in the towel. I'm just going to go bigger and get more variety that's all and hopefully it will all be on the gas companys tab. They said the gills of the fish I froze were to decomposed to get a sample so they came back for live fish. They kill my fish then they kill a few more that may have been survivors. What a messed up system!

Well it's the newest breeding group to go. Went down to feed and my beautiful show grade male Aul. Lwanda jumped out of the tank during the night. Another breeding group down. 6 more breeding groups left out of more than 20 I had before the drilling started. It's ashame, I had never really even seen that male in good light but boy did he have beautiful color. I knew right when I turned the corner which one it was laying on the floor. Thought it might still be alive it was so shiny. He was stiff though. This last two weeks is almost enough to make me get out of the hobby all together.:(

Try using the screen door material, tack it to a wooden frame that is a little larger than the top of the tank. It should be cheaper than glass lids and it won't restrict oxygen exchange.

If they end up paying for your fish, make sure you include shipping and handling, your time and gas to and from the shipping location. GL. :headbang2
