This tank houses two huge plecos. It's a 55G and very dirty, but they do fine somehow. Anyway, it's not my tank, so telling me to clean it won't really do anything. I was going to offer to take them, but they would starve in my clean 100G...... Just thought you would find it interesting!

Hmmm... apparently somebody removed the pics from the original picture so when I uploaded them again, it turned out as a double post. Oh well, you get the picture. I'm thinking of writing her a letter on how to properly take care of fish.

Cool, big plecs are great pets!

Looks like she has two different species too.

I'm not sure what species they are. But yeah, I'm just glad that she doesn't have an oscar or any pacus in there too :WHOA:

becareful on how you word your letter if you do, she may not take the advice so well.
Yeah, I don't want to sound condescending or anything. :(

Start small with a "hey mind if I add water to your tank?"

then that could lead to "wow... look at all this poop in the plants... I guess they would like it this were cleaned... ever heard of those 'siphon' things? They keep your fish really healthy, I'll show you..."

:D

They shouldn't 'starve' in your clean tank, because they shouldn't be living off of tank algae anyways. Give them zucchini and cucumber and they'll be super happy.

I don't actually see her, my aunt usually just tells me about her big fish. I also didn't want to add some poop-machines to my already-stocked 100G.

I wonder how many poeple actually realize that common pleco's get huge 3' -4'
