hi,

i kept 3 aussie before, sold the 1st one when it was 8inches, sold the 2nd one at 26inches.

after mths of hunting i finally secure my 3rd one, swear i am not going to part with aussie anymore, just love them than other fishes.

the common thing about aussie is that i notice particularly the centre of the eye always have a single white dot, i am pretty sure it is not cloudy eyes.

the other thing is that pleco cant be in the same tankas aussie, they will tend to suck the slime coating of the aussie, even i fed the pleco lots of food.

any idea if snails could do the same job as pleco as well?

I don't have any white dots on my aussie lungfish all have clear eye compare to other lungfish species. Snails would be food for lungfish as mine, snails is part of it's diet.

Awesome fish. I will be getting mine in the next few weeks? Getting him from the lung fish farm here. Wil be visiting it early May.
How much are they in Pinoy land?? Was just there in Feb, saw some awesome tanks in Boracay, I am loving the Aussie dollar ATM.

I'm not sure how much they sell AUL over there. I live in Canada I just go there for a vacation. Yes boracay sure is awesome. Was just there on January. I went scuba diving.

Oh ok. Are the qld lung fish common in Canada?
The 'regency' in boracy has a stack of red aros.
In Feb I went to legazpi and went swimming with the whale sharks (Butanding) was amazing. I swam into a swarm of kril and a massive whale shark of course didn't really distinguish the different between me and the plankton! I almost pooped my pants!

No not very common here. We have to order them from the farm. I get a lot of discounts whenever I go to boracay as I was local there before I move to Canada. Swimminh with whale sure is amazing. I went spear fishing in many parts of the Philippines. Had swam with many sharks too. My first incounter was I was 9 years old with a foxtail shark. I was spear fish for lapu lapu or the local grouper.
