One of my favourites by far. Very different from keeping Discus. Actually my old Jardini helped me break up with a very short-termed ex girlfriend - seeing fish scales being scattered around the tank after eating some feeders... she called me every foul name under the sun, before marching out my home! I ended up having a very happy beer that night with that fish... 
i'm in shepparton vic and there is sweet fa in the way of 'unique' fish here lately i've been enjoyin raising my wolf cichlid and gt's but looking to set up a lake victoria cichlid tank just for the colour i'll have to order all the fish thru the local pet shop kinda miss being in wagga as they have a shop there that always had new and different stock

i got a 5ft with a saratoga, oscar, sub dovii, flowerhorn, jd, jag, gold spot pleco
4ft holding my bigger male dovii (8-10")
3ft community tank (with a few SA cichlids in it)
2x 2ft holding tanks
2x 2ft community/grow out tanks
i'm about to setup a 3ftx3ftx2.5ft tank to house my big male dovii, then his tank'll become a cuban tank.
yet to take any decent pictures of the fish tho, but they'll be coming in due time.
Hey anyone know where to find Umbee's in Australia?????? i had one and it got a funky fungal disease and died, stil haven't found any more

I live in Toowoomba where the weather changes every hour.
I've got a 6 x 2 x 2 (upgrading soon) with 3 blood parrots 3 ghost knives and my Giant Gourami.
I've also got 4 @ 4 x 2 x 1.5 with various africans.
Would love to get my hands on some more juvie exotics.

I am in Geelong in Victoria and I currently own a Paratilapia Polleni Cichlid, A Large 7 Banded Archerfish, a Silfin Plecostomus and I am thinking of getting some more collectors fish! It's great to see others from Australia too!

Growout:
36" x 14.5" x 17" - 3 x aussie wild barra
Future plans,
Sell 2 of barra and keep just 1 once they are to big and get myself as many pbass as possible and make more room for more tanks!
