I'm pretty sure mine is a longfin. It's abit hard to see the spots, but it's deffo got some pattern on it.

good aye guys, hmm just a quick one what water temp does a mangrove jack need just picked one up about 6 cm thinking of keeping him with archers and mono's. further that when will i need to start adding salt and how much? or any sought of advice will be great., ive heard they dont even need salt true false?

ive got room now because i chucked my snake head in the local stream

I was asking you guys what type of eel it sounds like by my very sparse description. Trust me this little bugger is way to small to photograph lol.

I'd just say keep it around 25 degrees at least, as for the salt, I don't have a clue, lol. I know me mate wants a jack.
