I have a couple of Jardini's very nice fish that can get very tame. They are very popular here proberbly the most popular native fish kept in the hobby. They do grow very large often to 3 feet even in a 6 foot tank and are quite agressive to larger midwater tankmates but leave most bottom dwellers like plecos alone.
This is my "Jimmy Jardini" taken a while back when he was about 12 inches long he's much bigger now proberbly 2 feet + He's unusual as he has a slight blue base to him.

Thanks for the compliments he's a nice fish indeed. :)
Those pics were taken a while back when he was in a 48x30x30 tank and he was approx 12 inches long. He's now in a 96x36x30 tank and is about 2 feet +/- .
