Actually.. You cant catch and sell native fish in Qld. You can collect them and keep them as long as they meet the size limit (30cm) but cannot then sell them or release them back.

Plus you know all the banned to import species

I was just thinking about getting an eel again probaly a short finned because last time i have a long finned but it never made sense to me that there is no market for them i cant find any for sale online or any care sheets my long finned that i had was one of the best fish i ever had and every one that came over was very interested in him and wanted to feed him

I hate fresh water eels one of mine jumped out of the water and went into the sewer and yeah swamp eels are not less one of them went inside a pipe i use to fill water and after that wtf its bladder exloded
