I will ask him.

He just let me know that the ones he has available are right around 8". I will be closing the group buy on January 22 and will need everyone that wants one to get me the funds by January 29. I will be recieving them approximately the second week of February.

Are you actually shipping or the farm? Base on what I understand is that fish exporters normally guarantee live arrival. They will give credit on the next order. Of course they don't credit shipping cost. What would happen if only one dies and who will take a lost? The last guy to place the order with you or the first....? I am interested in getting one in the future but I have to know what's the real deal. Sorry to sound kind of negative but just don't want to get stuck with something not intended.
 
The farm is going to be shipping to me, which live arrival is guaranteed. What I can't guarantee is if someone wants me to ship the fish to them after I recieve the order. I will be ordering 2-4 of them for myself and in the unlikely event one doesn't make it to San Francisco I will cover it with one of the extras that I order. For everyone that is going to pick up directly from me, the fish will be guaranteed alive.

Thanks for clearing things up. I have to research more about their habits and compatibility with my existing stock before I can decide on getting one or not.

Leucistic AUL would cost few thousand. I heard the farm might have Xanthic AULs too. Too bad, I'm spending my money on school stuff right now. I would love to get an AUL again. Good luck, hope your group buy works out.
