please post when you get them in. I am interested. I have the money. But I cannot commit yet... lot of money for a fish (but a BARGAIN for a Aussie Lungfish!!). I just can't decide. But if you get them in and have an "extra" I think I might buy.

it's also a protected species, with restrict regulations within Australia. Exports are often limited, and perhaps only a handful has made it's way to the US so far.
our site admin Neoprodigy was actually among the first to import them.
it's too bad I'm a 17 year old going away to college soon, or I would definitely be interested.

I was kinda hoping I'd get a better response since I thought there was a slew of people wanting to get some, but so far, only three has raised their hands...This is not a cheap endeavour, so I am having second thoughts because I don't want to be stuck with 17 lungfish. But they are kinda cool. I will let Gordon know if I am going through with the order on Friday. So if anyone else wants to get in on the order, let me knows...

Maybe I'll do this, and if I do that, then maybe I'll do this, but maybe I might do something else that I may not do, but I just might do it, then do this, but maybe I won't or maybe I will decide later, but maybe I won't do that first thing and maybe go for the second but maybe I'll just decide on something else.

I was just told that the 6-8inch lungfish retail value is $850 each plus freight, and the 10-12 inch is $1,095.00 plus freight from Australia. So $600 is a very good price for the 10-12 inchers. I need about 15 people, and if it is not gonna happen, then I will look into other imports, like Africa...or Peru. These lungfish are really cool though..so I too can't make up my mind. GRRRR.
