Australian Murray Cod

My uncle has photo's of a 7ft monster he cough in western n.s.w about 20-30 years ago. Would love any info on this fish as i am very keen to keep in my 6ft tank.
do you guys find them normally in lFS's in Australia? I have never seen them in Europe..don't know stateside...
They are more common from summer, through autumn.

the max. they grow in the wild is 6ft.
ive got one about 16" and hes an awsome fish.
i feed him ONLY dead food. e.g: fish, chicken, lamb.
i noe hes a tad too big for a standard 6ft
thats why ill get him into a 6x2x2 tank soon,
then it'll be interesting to see what will happen.
Some people complain that all they do is hide away and realy come out to feed, but thats all they do in the wild, they guard a snag - which is their home, and are an ambush feeder and pounce on anything that swims past.
