Yeah the change can be quite dramatic.
Its nice because you dont feel like you are string at the same fish all the time.
 
I bought a pair but the bond broke as soon as I released them in my tank and they never bred again. they were quite dull when not breeding so I gave em away

Mine bred often and pair bond was amazing. I sold quite a few throughout the country.

I lost the female from unknown reasons and now only have the beautiful 6"+ male. He was bummed for months after she died. Now he is alpha in my SA community tank.

I have a breeders email if anyone wants it.

That is interesting, usually the bond is quite strong. sorry to here that. I bout 6 and got 2 pairs out of the group.

Yeah, thanks for the correction! LOL That's exactly what I meant. I was watching ESPN at the same time.
