They'll likely be OK but will prefer much cooler temps long term. They'll live longer as well.

Mine bred regularly at temps in the low-mid 70s, usually after a warm up from the upper 60s.

I got you... unfortunately, I do not have them in a species only tank, and doing a cool down like that could be like opening the door to an ich outbreak on the other cichlids that are in with them. So they'll just have to deal with the warmer temps in my tank for now. If I notice them seeming to look or behave in an unhealthy manner, then I suppose I would have to rehome them, since I do not have any additional tank space for them at this time, and don't anticipate acquiring any additional tanks at this time. But so far, so good!
