auto drip?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have one and never would part with it. The only thing I like to do with mine is drain water a couple times a day to make sure it gets more fresh water than just blend it all the time. It is a life saver when one holidays or when I want my rays to start breeding.

Is a topic of auto drip systems. I'm going to be setting up an auto drip soon on my tank my tank is 600 gallons and I am figuring on about 2 gph. Should move enough water to get a good amount of circulation

I'm in the process of setting up a drip on my 600. In no way am I going to do manual water changes on such a large tank.

On Another side note. For those using them... Are we using pure cold? Pure hot? Mix? How are u dripping? Emitter? Valve? Personally I do pure hot on my pond system currently with a valve.. Would like to be more accurate if possible...

I have a timed solenoid and drip 30 gals of cold per day, it goes in at a slow rate over 2 hours. My nitrates are stable and under 20ppm
