I am thinking about building a system that will keep the water level up between water changes. I plan to use a 90litre tub w/ toilet bowl system. I'm having a problem w/ how to lift the flapper to release the water from the tub into my Wet/dry. Any input is appreciated. Thanks

a simple ball valve should do the trick...its manual but failsafe:D

Why not use my drip system?

I've seen some autotop off valves in the well department at Menards.

Thanks for the input. I like the drip system but my water lines are pretty far from the tank. Right now I use a 50 foot garden hose to fill. My water evaporates so fast. I guess I could just put together a holding tank for add water and run a line to the wet/dry.

What kind of covers are on your tank? I have met wet dry and tank 100% coverd so the water level never changes. I just have some holes above the sump for air exchange.

I haven't had covers on my tanks. Planned on making some out of 1/4 acrylic. Is the 1/4" gonna be thick enough not to warp? I keep my tanks about 78-80 deg.

I dont think 1/4 would warp....1/8 would but quarter inch should be fine IMO
