Neat gadget...might look into it myself Although my tanks don't really evaporate since I have a nice cover...it's more cause it's cool to have...

I agree, I used 1/8" and it warped in no time!

so will 1/2. if you use 1/4 lexan it will still warp, but not as much. little more expensive but less warpage. all I do when it's warping just put the lid with the raised edges under water, and in like a minute it will be back to normal..

Cover the tank then you wont need the refill system 1/4" is plenty thick for covers
