Auto feeders are cheap nowadays, I have several.

My advice is not to buy second hand from an unknown source as these devices are error prone. It is better to get it from an lfs because you can always return it if there is a problem....and from my own experience, auto feeders do present problems by nature of the fact that the devices are mechanical and most are made in China....
thanks for this information.. is the product that made in china not good? do you know of any fish feeder that are made in america? i just can't find any.. thanks again.

Not familiar with NLS discus shape...I'm sure it is the same size through out.
Look for a feeder that controls the humidity in the food drum...otherwise they will pick up too much moisture in the food and it will clump...
ok.. i'll search the product that will pickup moisture in the food. is there anything else i should look for when buying automatic feeder? thanks alot..

I used to buy Japanese made feeders, they work perfectly. But I cannot get these anymore because they only sell China made ones in Singapore nowadays!

If they work, the pellets should be released continuously day after day and time after time. So IMO there is no worry about pellets moulding or fouling up. It's only if they stop for some reason or other....then you need to worry about replacing the pellets if they have already been compromised! But if so, you should also send the feeder back to the lfs and ask for a replacement.
that's a nice way to buy some automatic feeder in our LFS. but when i went there, they don't have any good quality, the same thing as i have mine before.. there's a moisture inside and the pellets fouled up..

actually, i still have it, but i don't wanna use it.. im pretty sure, it will do the same thing before..

P.S.
sorry about my english guys.
