Heh, I already have a very nice copy of the movie, but want to see it in 3D first.

I have also never seen any of the Star Wars movies from beginning to end. I've seen parts, and I've seen the Family Guy spoofs (I know, right, I don't even get all of the jokes!) but never actually sat down to watch one of the real movies.

I think LOTR is probably one of the best series of all time. Excellent story, and the movie played true to the books for the most part.

When you say remake, are you talking about the prequels with Jar Jar Binks and that crap? Bah to those. The only ones worth watching are the old 3, the new ones aren't worth the time.

I do have to say though, that just about everyone of my friends have seen Avatar and not one of them has said it was bad and I have quite a few friends that are wannabe movie critics.

no, the new three are prequels to the original three (the original three are much,much better imo)

Avatar is by far the best movie i have seen, i vent to a 3D, the 20th, and im gonna see it again in a week, with my sister. I CANT WAIT.
 
Avatar is by far the best SPECIAL EFFECTS I have ever seen.


But as far as the movie goes?...... seen it before.
