'Suuuuup, folks? I was fish shopping the other day and found that one of my LFS's has a single EBJD, labled as a "Powder Blue Dempsey" for $32. Is this a decent price for a 2.5 in. specimen? I would like to acquire it, as it is in great shape and has gorgeous markings, but if I can get the same thing online or even here for less I'd rather do that.

Thanks in advance,

the electric blue jack dempsey at my fish stores are around $45 for a 1 incher

If you like it buy it. Its a good price as far as I am concerned. I see them sell for $40-$50 all day at 1".

Thanks, all. I went out on my lunch hour and bought it. I'll try and get some pics up by tomorrow.

And I still can't believe how brightly colored this little guy is!

Wow, I feel bad for the folks who say that's a good price... find some other peeps in Idaho to give yourself a good price gauge before buying it.

Here in SoCal, I wouldn't pay more than $20 for a quality 1" juvi...

Got mine for 50$ in NEw England, roughly 2 years ago now...

before n after photos, at 2.5-3 " picture and a 4.5 5 inch pic or so...
