They are not really bad its just very confusing to climb around in tunnels when the screen rotates 360 degrees, I feel that its not worth the money when you can play L4D2 or modern warfare.

I use to be addicted to AvP when it came out for PC like 10 years ago. I was the master with the alien. Nothing like being able to climb and run on a 360 degree playing field. 
I'd like to get the new for my xbox but I heard it only got so-so reviews which is sad. But if Davo likes it, it has to be good. He's a tough critic.

Might be a bit biased because Im a big alien and predator fan too so.... Dunno what the sp is like but the mp was fun times. I imagine if you get good with the alien this time around, it will be the one to own with. Seems love it or hate it with a lot of people though. There is a demo... maybe you should try that?
got this on pre-order so ive had a couple of weeks with it. not as good as the first one with regards to the multiplayer but its ok. i got it half price which means i couldnt really grumble. ths singleplayer is ok at best but you do get, in effect, 4 games for the price of one.
the MP community is still very limited because its such a new game and the mp takes a while to get going.

As for whether its worth 50.... probably not. Least not for me. Games like this one will come down in price pretty soon. Especially if it's not selling as well as they anticipated because of mixed reviews. I'd wait a month or so, will be able to get it much cheaper by then I'd imagine.
