Ok, since its getting closer to jan, and i might get another aussie i got to finish my enclosure by decemner so here some plans

what im gonna do is use 4x8 panels and make an enclosure 6’Tx4’Wx3’D and im gonna wood glue and scree each side together and from the inside use non toxic caulking on all the edges and corners, and then sand it and spray it with 100% non toxic sealant ( 2 - 3 coasts )

what some questions are im gonna have the top all screen so i can see my uvb tube and heat bulb on top, and also for the doors in then front it will be to doors each 2feet wide with a border of about 4 inches and the rest will be screen, WILL IT HOLD HUMIDITY GOOD? or for the door should i do plexiglass or glass?

and suggestions would be great thanks

air is always the enemy when trying to hold humidity. IMO blocking off the screen with plexiglass or glass would be wise for holding a high humidity

You can experiment with the humidity. I would do screen and then get some cheap thin plexiglass that you can cover it with until you get the desired humidity. This will hopefully leave some screen areas open to provide air flow and will also make it easier to modify if you want to keep a lower humidity herp in it down the road....That's just what I would do

thanks ill do screen for now then, the top will be fine for screen cause of the lighting, any ideas on a 100% nnon toxic sealant i can use in the inside? and will i have to seal the inside and out side?

and i couldnt find any non toxic sealant this is my list so far from lowes

4x8 panels x3 = 12$ - 23$ (each)
Non Toxic silicone= 4$
(each)
Finish Paint x2= 7$ (each)
Locking Hendges x2 = 2$ (each)
Door Henges x2 = 3$ - 5$ (each)
Door Handles x2 = 1$ - 5$ (each)

ALL PRICES ARE ROUNDED UP SO FOR EXAMPLE IF ITS ANYTHING MORE THEN A DOLLAR ( 1.02 )I PUT IT AS 2 DOLLARS THIS WAY I CAN HAVE ALL THE MONEY I NEED AN HAVE A BIT EXTRA AFTER....

I got all bolts and screws at work, and i will screw each peice together and have hendes on each corner for extra secruity,

and also is OSB SHEATING good to use? its like compressed wood ..

and also the finsihing color will be red mahageny ( spell check)

oh BA those things are awesome i thought about getting one but then i realized i didnt have the space for one
