a very good sealant is regular high gloss interior paint. lowes is the store you are going to? good choice their brand of paint is valspar a far superior paint, compared to Behr which is home depot's paint. for the non toxic sealer you just buy any paintable silicone let dry 72 hours then coat with the interior paint. i have tons of info on building an enclosure to suit high humidity any more questions just pm me or post again here. here is two pics of my retic enclosure. humidity runs about 60%. the dimensions are 8'x7'x4'.
yes. water based paint is non toxic when it cures. it is called inert, meaning it has no chemical release. flat paint is the least water resistant and high gloss in the most.
so i can get a water base paint thats like a finish thats what im gonna use on the out side, ill see if i find the exact paint i want to use to see if it will work if not i can paint it like a gloss white in the inside,
and also will i have to use none toxic caulking/silicone or since ill paint over it its ok to use which ever one?
