you want true minimonsters, take it down get a screen top and get a smaller species scorpion or tarantula lol, theyd be good for life, although I'm guessing your only going to want to go the fish route.
I had an extra 10 gallon, now I have a baby ball python lol (of course the setup far outweighed the cost of just the extra tank haha).

Oscar...In a 10 gallon, an Oscar will only get 20" long, which is about the width of the tank, so you are good.
