I recently found out about this rare species of porcupinefish: Diodon hystrix, AKA the Pelagic Porcupine Puffer. Some of you may have heard of them, but due to their elusive nature, I'm sure there are plenty out there who are unaware. They display a beautiful blue color, especially when young, and are said to be more or less half the size of your average porcupinefish. Now, don't get your hopes up, because these fish are SUPER rare, relatively unknown, and as a result, rather expensive when available. But still, it would no doubt be awesome to have one, and of course, as a big-time puffer fan, this is definitely a species on my coveted fish bucket list. Below are two pictures, one displaying a young individual, the other displaying an older, (presumably adult?) specimen.

I didn’t know any puffer came in blue like that!
That is awesome looking!
Any puffed up pics?

I believe you’ve given us the wrong scientific name?
